Join the Friends of the Mitta (FOTM) Give-Back Day!
On Saturday, September 28th (Grand Final Day!), we’re inviting you to Anglers Rest for the annual Give-Back Volunteer Day!
Kicking off at 9 AM at the Anglers Rest Campground, join up with 100 volunteers and get your hands dirty in projects like weed removal, campsite and trail maintenance, and more, all along the stunning Mitta Mitta River and Alpine National Park.
But it’s not just about work—stick around for free live music and a BBQ (small charge) at the back grass area of the Blue Duck. BYO all drinks as the pub is not yet officially open. The celebration kicks off at 6pm. Bring a jacket/lawn chair/picnic rug as it’s out in the open.
On Sunday, September 29th, get ready for our annual Fun Run Rafting down the Mitta. No rafting experience? No worries! They have got spots for newcomers too. Please book your space by calling Carrie Aronson on 0477708744.
